May Artists Spotlight - Isabella Wagner

Stop by the cafe to see the works of Isabella Wagner throughout the month of May. Isabella is a Brandermill resident and current Senior at Midlothian High School where she attends the International Baccalaureate specialty center. Bella has been immersed in art since she was 10 months old.


Drawing inspiration from her love of classical studies, literature, personal experience with chronic illness and loss, and background in science, as well as, her curiosity and skill have created a diverse portfolio in content and materials. Utilizing art as a form of therapy, she creates pieces that tell stories of her experiences and express her passions.
Bella has attended the highest level art classes within Chesterfield County Public Schools. She was an intern as a member of the M-Lit program at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, is President of the Art History Club, a member of the National English Honors Society and Art Honors Society, and is an instructor at the Art Factory. Bella has won numerous awards for her art over the years and her pieces have been in multiple exhibitions.
Bella will be attending VCU Arts this fall to fulfill a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts with plans to go onto scientific and medical illustration.
All proceeds from this exhibition will go towards college.
