Ronnie Mena is a Los Angeles-based artist working in a range of fields from traditional and digital illustration to face and body art. As a renowned face painting and body artist, Mena is noted for his clean line work and unique style of blending traditional painting techniques with theatrical makeup techniques.

"As a child, I was always shy about being drawn to things that were considered feminine or deemed not for boys. Unicorns were the things that truly captured my imagination. However, as I didn't have the courage to ask for them in the form of toys, I would draw them instead. This was my way of having them in my world - by creating them.
