August Artist Spotlight - Lance Fisher
This month, we are featuring the work of local artist, Lance Fisher. Be sure to check out his work on display in the cafe throughout the month of August.
Self-taught local artist, Lance Fisher, enjoys learning and exploring new and varied techniques, mediums and subject matter when inspired. His art ranges from abstract expressions in latex house paint to landscapes and seascapes, portraiture and still life studies in charcoal, pastels, oil and acrylics. He also makes his own black walnut ink that he adds to much of his work. Whether he adds smooth brush strokes, charcoal shadow smears or drip style stream-of-consciousness immersive splattering, he promotes feeling into each line, sketch, drawing or painting he makes.
