ANIME DRAWING
Wednesdays at 6pm
A series of classes breaking down the art of anime by analyzing various elements from different shows, movies, and clips in order to apply them to the pieces we create. Each class will focus on different topics from character design to backgrounds featured in different anime. Through analyzing the anime we love, different drawing and art techniques and elements of design can be learned and further improved upon.

DRAWING TECHNIQUES

In this Drawing Techniques class, we will be covering foundational drawing topics which can be "drawn" from multitudes of styles in order to improve our own works. Follow along each week for different methods of shading, forms, elements and principles of art, and much more!

WATERCOLOR MEDITATION
Friday Sept. 29th, Oct. 13th/27th at 6pm
Watercolor Meditation, is a class for anyone who wants to find a moment of creative relaxation, regardless of skill level. It teaches beginner watercolor techniques, while guiding the students through meditation exercises. This class is designed to help you let go of stress and truly enjoy your painting time.
Complimentary hot tea will be served during the class for you to enjoy as well.Class will be begin on time but we suggest arriving 5 minutes early to check in and get the seat of your choice. Classes are approximately 1 hour long.Reservations required.
CREATIVE CANVAS - SPOOKY MEADOW
Friday, Oct. 6th at 6pm
Join us for a spook-tacular ceative canvas class! We'll be painting a goregous landscape with some spooky friends.

CREATIVE CANVAS
Creative Canvas provides a fun, friendly environment for you to flex your artistic muscles! We have classes for adults, children, families and couples.
Our instructor will guide you through the featured painting giving you time to enjoy your friends’ company, meet new people and have a good time. There is no right or wrong in this class – join us for an experience and amaze yourself with your creative abilities.
You don’t have to be Van Gogh or Picasso to enjoy this experience. Come out for a fun time and go home with an amazing piece of art painted by YOU.
LANDSCAPE DRAWING
4 Weeks, beginning October 6th at 10:30am
Using different drawing materials we will create our own landscapes.
This is a 4 week class that will meet on Fridays from 10:30-11:45am. We do provide aprons but please dress for mess. All materials for this class are provided by the Art Factory. A complimentary cup of drip coffee is also included for you to enjoy with class each week.
This class is part of an ongoing art program for adults 55 years and older. Classes are typically 4 to 6 weeks and cover various art mediums. Students explore their creativity, while forming meaningful connections within their community. Our classes aim to improve the health and well-being of students through art.
GOUACHE

SENIOR HOLIDAY PAINT AND POUR ORNAMENTS & SOCIAL
Friday, December 15th at 10:30am
Let's get together before the holidays to paint pour some ornaments. Class will last about an hour, but then we would like to invite you all to stay for some holiday treats and an ornament exchange!
If you'd like to participate in the ornament exchange, then please just bring a wrapped ornament. We will be placing all of the ornaments on a table and drawing numbers to see who picks first! Just like a white elephant gift exchange.
WATERCOLOR LANDSCAPE

Enhance your watercolor skills and learn new techniques as we discover landscapes. Perfect for beginners, or to add skills to your artist toolbox.
DRAWING TECHNIQUES

Develop your drawing techniques and observation skills as we focus on proportion and shading. We will cover different subject matter for each class.
TEXTILE ARTS
5 weeks, beginning March 15th at 10:30am
In this series we will learn and apply textile art techniques, including batik, sun art, tie dye, gel plate transfer, and hand painted fabric.

Choose your favorite topics or join us for all of our upcoming classes! Students explore their creativity while forming meaningful connections within their community. Our classes aim to improve the health and well-being of students through art.

IMPASTO

Explore working with impasto. We will use pallet knives and tinted texture to create your own design.
FALL WATERCOLOR LANDSCAPES
October 15th at 5pm
Learn various watercolor techniques to create your own Fall Watercolor Landscape.
COPPER ETCHING
October 22nd at 5pm
Create your own canvas and copper etching masterpiece. Bring an idea from home, or choose one of ours. Our instructor will teach you both etching and canvas painting techniques.
PAINT POUR PUMPKINS
October 29th at 5pm
Explore acrylic paint pour techniques over faux pumpkins to create your own fall decor.
WATERCOLOR HOLIDAY CARDS
November 5th at 5pm
Learn various watercolor techniques to create your own watercolor holiday card.
FALL STILL LIFE DRAWING

Develop your drawing and observation skills as we focus on shading and highlights of a variety of fall objects.
BATIK SCARVES

In this class we will explore batik techniques and apply them to your own custom scarves.
BOTANICAL WATERCOLORS

Learn various watercolor techniques to create your own botanical compositions.
CHRISTMAS TREE PAINTING
December 17th at 5pm
Paint a festive Christmas Tree as we gear up for the holidays!
Our instructor will guide you through the process of creating your own custom wooden sign in this 2 ½ hour class. From sanding and staining to stenciling and painting, you will learn to work with natural wood grains, knots and textures. You will leave with a piece of art that is one of a kind.
Even if you have never lifted a paintbrush, not to mention woodworking tools, this class is for beginners or expert artisans alike. Our designer will make stencils that allow you to customize your sign with your family name, children’s names, monogram, or special dates in your life. You will also have the opportunity to choose paint colors and wood stain that best coordinate with your style and taste.
Join us to paint decor for your front door! Choose the door hanger of your choice - We have round signs as well as cutouts in seasonal shapes, holiday themed, and greetings. We will have all the paint colors and supplies to create your perfect door hanger during this event.
What are the adult classes like? Come with friends, or meet the person next to you. Our instructor will guide you step by step through creating your own unique works of art. Classes are laid back, no pressure. Music playing, we want you to relax and have a great time!
Are children allowed to attend an adult class? Due to the level of difficulty or type of event, we offer many different sessions- teens only, adults only, just for kids and fun for the whole family! Those specified for adults are for 18+. Please check our calendar for age appropriate classes.
Do I need to sign up in advance? Yes! We do ask that you register online in advance (if you need help registering please give us a call!) This allows us to prepare materials for those classes that require custom stencils, and ensure we have enough supplies as well as staff to work the event. Classes that do not meet enough sign ups will unfortunately be canceled. Help us keep our calendar full of fun events by registering online and invite your friends!
What do I wear? We provide aprons, but we recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on. Remember - we are using acrylic paints so you may want to leave your nice items, shoes or purses at home! The Art Factory and Party Place cannot be responsible for any paint damage.
If I come with a friend or a group, can we all sit together? We encourage you to arrive 10 minutes early to select a seat. If you are coming with a group of 5 or more, let us know in advance and we will try to make arrangements.
Can I bring in an adult beverage? You are welcome to bring in a non-alcoholic beverage with you.
Can I tip the Instructor? Tips are greatly appreciated.
Can we host a private event? Yes! Please give us a call with a date or two already in mind. There is an 8 person minimum for private events.
Can I schedule a party at my location? Absolutely! We’d be happy to bring the Art Factory to you! Please give us a call with a date or two already in mind. Please keep in mind these classes can be messy and each guest will need a considerable amount of work space. A travel fee may apply. There is a 8-person minimum for private events.
What is your cancellation policy? Our classes are non-refundable. Cancellations made 72 hours prior to the class will be given a credit to reschedule for a future event.
Changes: Classes with customized items may request personalization changes up until 5 days prior to the event. At this point stencils will be made and there will be a $10 recut production fee.
Please Note: The Art Factory and Party Place reserves the right to cancel a painting session at any time due to class size, weather, sickness, etc. If we feel we need to cancel a workshop or event, every attempt will be made to notify those that have signed up for the session. If you paid online, you will be given the option of rescheduling your session or a refund will be made.
